The Rental Market in Fairfax County Virginia still remains strong compared to 2012. The demand for rental housing combined with low supply is breaking new highs with the average rents topping $2,300 in July.
This may be an all time record. With the trends still quite strong and average units rented beating both 2012 and 2011 YTD, we feel this trend will continue through December 2013. At some point this will have some consequences leading to slower demand or possibly a rise in inventory. Although it's impossible to predict but at some point these trends tend to retract.
